A multicultural heritage
Of Franco-Italian origin, Edoardo Luzzatto-Giuliani draws his inspiration from his dual culture which gives him an innate sense of design and a taste for innovation. A mechanical engineer, this jack-of-all-trades began his career in 3D engineering software, a field in which he worked for 15 years. This experience, rich in plural technological teachings, led him to work in various industrial fields around the world. Highly specialized in digital 3D modeling for the architecture, engineering & construction industry (AEC) he joined in 2003 the start-up Gehry Technologies, a pioneer in the field of BIM (Building Information Modeling) for the AEC. He will work there as Sales Director for the USA and then Director for Europe and as consultant to architects on various worldwide recognized large-scale projects.
From father to son, the same passion
His professional responsibilities, however, did not draw him away from his workshop where he continued to create designer objects and furniture. A passion inherited from his maternal grandfather from whom, as a child, he learned the first rudiments of mechanics and who overlooked and encouraged him in his first steps in design and fabrication. His father, an aeronautical engineer by trade, also passed on to him the other secret of his ambitions: there are no insurmountable obstacles, only solutions. Meeting challenges becomes a second nature leveraging both an acute sense of observation and innovation while maintaining high standards and attention to detail. From design to assembly, Edoardo acquires an essential technological mastery and put his creativity at the service of his clients.
